I really enjoy asking people that question, “Imitate me”.
I really want to know what’s beyond our galaxy. I would like to know that. When I think of the furthest place I would like to go, it is a place in the universe that I really can’t go to.
There is so much more than just the Earth. And I will never see that. Only in a small grainy photo from NASA. Even if you’ve seen seen every single thing on Earth, it’s only a tiny fraction of what exists. Or at least, as we assume.
But when I think of the farthest place I would like to go, it is a place that I actually cannot reach in the universe.
Here on Earth, I’ve started to take myself less seriously.
And to some extent I’ve been concerned with how I am and how I come across. And I’ve asked people the question: “Can you imitate me?” Because I am aware that I have a typical way of doing things.
A friend of mine can imitate me very well. And it is so nice to hear yourself mirrored. Because people often see that as something negative. If someone is imitating you, someone is trying to make you look ridiculous. But somewhere I find it very endearing or something, to see how I am in the world.
But when I thought about it, I wondered if I can imitate myself. Can I parody myself? I’m still not sure about that. Because in order to imitate myself, I should understand what my mannerisms are.
